The electric motor is driven by a removable lithium-ion battery, which - depending on the driving style - allows a range of up to 50 km as well as approx. 1000 charging cycles. If, for example, the battery is recharged every 4 days, a round decade will pass before it finally has to be replaced.
So you don't necessarily have to stop at an e-charging station with the "Retrolino", but simply remove the lithium-ion battery, which weighs about 9 kg, and charge it for 2 to 4 hours at a normal power outlet. You can carry the necessary charger with you wherever you go in the integrated and lockable storage compartment of the e-scooter.
